The new color HP Indigo ElectroInk Invisible Yellow

Hooray Studios a Slovenian company and Schätzl print emotion give personalized children’s books a new dimension: With their book “Glow in the Dark”, the little reader gets another hidden story in addition to the normal story, which only lights up in the dark. The new HP Indigo ElectroInk Invisible Yellow is used. The additional story within the book is only visible with a special UV lamp and thus offers double reading fun.

Hooray Studios was founded to give children the joy of reading through personalized stories. The company, which is based in Ljubiljana, now employs more than 150 people at its headquarters and in its worldwide branches in Italy, Austria, France, Germany, England and the USA. With almost a million books sold in 2019, Hooray Studios is one of the world’s leading providers of personalized children’s books. It is planned to enter the market in other European countries as well as Canada and Australia. In 2019, the company was recognized as the start-up of the year.

The new HP Indigo ElectroInk Invisible Yellow in the test

We came into play when it came to printing. Schätzl print emotion has been using HP digital printing since 2011 and has a HP Indigo 7900 and a HP Indigo 12000 digital press.

“Embedding the printing presses in a fully automated process chain is crucial for us. For example, we use HP Print OS with HP Print OS Siteflow. It’s an operating system for production printing – with web applications and mobile apps that optimize the use of our HP printing systems and simplify our production.

With this solution, we can automate decisions and processes in the printing process, ”says Ulrich Schätzl, Managing Director of Schätzl print emotion.

We are constantly expanding our range with additional and innovative printing services. We also tested the new HP Indigo ElectroInk Invisible Yellow in a beta test. These new colors offer growth opportunities for both print service providers and clients. Thanks to this innovation, unprecedented applications can be realized. The first result is the collaboration with Hooray Studios and the production of personalized children’s books. Dejan Cesar, Business Development Manager at Hooray Studios adds, “We are very pleased about our partnership with Schätzl. And we are both excited about the possibilities that HP technology offers us. This made our “Glow-in-the-Dark books” possible.”
